辛亥武昌起义后，云南的同盟会积极回应。1911年lO月27日滇西腾越爆发起义。10月30日省城昆明爆发重九起义，成立了以蔡锷为首的云南军都督府，在内政、财政、教育、实业、交通等方面采取了一系列改革措施，并发布采用公元纪年的民国改元布告。

Gregorian Calendar Proclamation and a　Souvenir Badge Commemorating the　1911 Revolution

   The revolution of 19ll met with a quick response from the member of the Chinese Revolutionary League in Yunnan. On October 27 1911,the Tengyue Uprising in west  Yunnan erupted. On October 30, the Double-Nine  Uprising broke out in Kunming and the Yunnan Governor's Office, headed by General Cai E, was established. subsequently, a series of reforms was carried out in the areas of internal affairs, finance,education, industry and communicatiom, and a proclamation was issued on the use of the Gregorian calendar.
